We took this in the early Winter morning with the full moon just about to set. This is just after sunrise, but with the sunrays still blocked by low hanging clouds and hills. What you're seeing is the moon seemingly sinking into a sea of soft clouds. The the trees in front only show as a dark silhouette, creating a nice contrast to the bright light reflecting off the moon. And I love the colors in the sky. They were these wonderful, magic pinks and purples, with a hint of gold. My fingers almost froze off during this session, but it was worth it ; )
